A number of years ago, I decided I wanted to develop a hobby, one that involved some creativity to compensate for my desk job and a million meetings. I took some jewelry classes and was hooked.  This has since developed into a serious enough hobby for me to build a studio, spend a little more on equipment and supplies and, now, take a shot an at online store.

My inspiration comes mostly from the materials themselves. I like to sit with the silver, stones, wood and other materials and envision what they could be together.  It is somewhat of an organic process. I always start with a concept, but it often evolves as I am working, resulting in something quite different when I am finished. Other sources of inspiration are my family and friends who have provided many suggestions (and requests!).

Each item is hand-made and most are one-of-a-kind. I don't strive for perfection and machine-like finishes. I like the genuine hand-made look.  Recently, I've started to incorporate some hand carved hardwoods.  The carving seems to be growing into a second hobby, but the combination of carving and silversmithing has presented some unique and fun challenges.

Thanks for your interest and I hope you find something you like.
